Ayurveda and Dr. Mukesh B. Paneri

I was introduced to Dr. Paneri by a 43-years old friend who has a juvenile Parkinson's and who was in very bad shape physically and psychologically for a long period of time. She started Ayurveda treatment with Dr. Paneri in August 2006 and the only thing I can say for the moment is that she looks fine (February 2007). She confirms that there is no depression anymore, no shuffling and only little dragging of the right leg when she is tired. I will invite her to participate in the discussion.

I had a discussion with Dr. Paneri about the term "cure" as I am sceptical about his statement to cure Parkinson's disease. But I don't want to judge and invite him to the discussion too. Below you find links to his homepage and an article in Telelife, Dubai, of October 2006.

I would only like to make clear that the terms (full) cure or recovery in my opinion are only justified when there is (full) absence of all symptoms of the disease over a period of at least five years.
